About Us
Founded in 2004, the Saratoga-Monte Sereno Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization of community and civic-minded neighbors working to improve the quality of life in Saratoga and Monte Sereno. We are a tax-exempt umbrella organization created to strengthen the local facilities, services, and events our residents rely on: schools, libraries, parks, public spaces, and senior services.

Today, we serve as a bridge between generous local donors and the needs of our community, partnering with the cities of Saratoga and Monte Sereno and with local nonprofits to fund work in the arts, youth programs, health, the environment, and education.

Many of our donors have a specific cause close to their heart. Through donor-advised giving, you can recommend exactly how your gift is put to work without the cost of establishing your own 501(c)(3).
Our donors' generosity reflects a love for this area and a recognition of what neighbors can accomplish together.

Terrie Creamer
President
Terrie serves as President of the Saratoga Monte Sereno Community Foundation, bringing decades of experience in education, civic engagement, and nonprofit leadership. A long-time community leader, she also serves as President of Saratoga Rotary and the Santa Clara County Library District Foundation, and holds leadership roles in the Saratoga Foothill Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, P.E.O., and her church. She has previously held leadership positions with the Saratoga Education Foundation, multiple PTAs, National Charity League, Friends of the Saratoga Libraries, and other local organizations. Terrie enjoys reading, traveling with her husband, spending time with her family and two cats, and delighting in her first grandchild.
Corinne Vita
Treasurer
A Saratoga resident for 34 years, Corinne loves the community's beautiful neighborhoods and green hills. A retired engineer from IBM and Siemens, she has been active in local service for decades — six years with National Charity League (serving as Webmaster), volunteering with the Friends of the Saratoga Libraries, and 12 years as a City of Saratoga Traffic Safety Commissioner. She has served on the Foundation's board for 17 years. Corinne enjoys golf, hiking, and travel.
Elizabeth Guy
Recording Secretary
Elizabeth has been an active member of the Saratoga community since moving here with her family in 1997. Her four children attended Saratoga schools, where she spent many years involved in PTA, SEF, theater, and athletics. She continues her commitment to local service by teaching Sunday School at Menlo Church, volunteering with the Friends of the Saratoga Libraries, participating in the Saratoga Foothill Club, co-managing a safe carpark program, and timing track meets for Saratoga High athletics. Elizabeth enjoys reading, backpacking, and watching sports.
