Our Impact
We partner with the cities of Saratoga and Monte Sereno and with local nonprofits to fund arts, youth, health, environmental, and educational programs benefiting residents of all ages. Here's a look at what your support makes possible.
Our Projects
Since our founding, the Foundation has funded improvements, programs, and scholarships across Saratoga and Monte Sereno. Here are some of the projects your generosity has made possible.
Downtown Saratoga Street Clock
SMSCF contributed funding toward the decorative street clock at the east end of Big Basin Way. Installed in 2020–2021, this classic double-faced clock enhances Saratoga Village's charm and welcomes residents and visitors alike.
Joan Pisani Community & Senior Center
SMSCF collected community funds to replace the worn linoleum floor in the Center's multi-purpose room with durable hardwood. The upgraded space now supports Parks and Recreation programs yoga, children's gymnastics, and dance for all ages and hosts community meetings and events.
Scholarships for Saratoga High School Seniors
SMSCF awards annual scholarships to Saratoga High School seniors, supporting local students as they pursue higher education and their future careers.
Walden West Outdoor Education
SMSCF contributed funding to the Walden West Foundation for the installation of a climbing wall, enhancing outdoor education and hands-on learning for thousands of local students.
Saratoga's 60th Anniversary Celebration
SMSCF proudly supported Saratoga's 60th anniversary, helping commemorate the milestone with events that brought residents together to honor the city's history and vibrant future. Ten years later, we're proud to be supporting Saratoga's 70th.
Joe's Trail
When an anonymous donor chose to fund a significant new community asset, they selected SMSCF as the conduit for the gift. The Foundation managed the payments for the trail, which now connects our community for walking and biking.
Additional Initiatives
We've also been proud to support Saratoga's Celebrations, and the Plant-a-Tree Program.
